Anyone used these guys as they come to your home and remap for £225

I had a chap from Warrington , who came out to my house to do a remap,,, Cant remember what he was trading as but did a great job on an Audi A8,

Charged me £220

I'd would be very interested to see the results! Judging by the phone number I guess he is from Neston...not far from me! I also have a TDV8 so this will be interesting. I think there was a company in Neston..maybe the same company that was an agent for Bluefin Technology until the agency went elsewhere. And the upgrade via Bluefin was circa £400.00 if I remember correctly.
Anyway, please advise - as if it's a great improvement, I'll be calling them!

Overfinchred : did you get the remap done today? Any thoughts?

Well remap all done and I must admit it does feel very different on the 2 short journeys I have made today
Much much more responsive

Overtook a couple of lorries on a straight stretch and the power was much improved and smoother

Compared to other diesels I have owned over the years this engine is what I would call a ' Lazy engine'

Now it is very different

I will do a mpg comparison over the next month or so but so far so good 22mpg round town compared to 17/18

Guy turned up on time, did a check first then did re map storing all old data and then did a fault check and found 2 faults

For £225 it is way under the cost of other remapping I have had done

For true mpg figures you'll need to do brim-to-brim tests, remaps trick the ecu so the readings from the trip computer cannot be trusted.

I owned a car that had been remapped before I bought it and it said on the trip I was getting 55mpg when in fact I was getting 45.

I am not an agent for Dynachip and do not want to be involved in negotiating a rate for everyone else
Those that are interested can pick up the phone like I did and call him to book your remap
