L.E.D DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS

Hi im new to this site i have been told by a good friend that you can have your l.e.d day time running lights turned on 24/7 without doing them your self is there anyone that can do it for me ? [/b][/i] J.DAVIES

Hi there JEDS_SDV6, welcome to the forum, I think you'll find it of interest, as a new member I certainly have.

The current model RRS doesn't have DRL's, they are called LED signature lights, your dealer can set them to come on when the ignition is switched on but your rear lights will also be on, there isn't and option to have just your front LED lights on. This will change on the 2014 RRS. But as posted above in the link you can have them fitted.

I wonder if it might be possible to make the front sidelights come on whenever the ignition is on irrespective of the light switch's position i.e. run a constant live to them. If one could, and one fitted a suitable LED bulb then a DRL effect would be achieved without having to run the rear lights too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I'd be intrested to know if the front bulbs in the LED signature lights can be upgraded to brighter bulbs ie Audi/volvo brightness
