Tim getting deeper and dirtier

Just a couple of more of Tim Razz

The first is a classic moment at Glentarkie when the water came up and over the windscreen of his Defender -- probably a couple of years ago now:

Shocked Laughing

The second is one of the most perfect bow waves I've ever seen. This is how to go deep wading in an offroader:

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The first one is an Oliver Classic.................... deep wading without a raised intake and stalling it in water a little deeper than anticpated................. thank goodness it fired 1st turn of the key otherwise it might have been a very expensive day!

The problem with a Defender in water like that is the AWFUL smell that comes out of the heater system for weeks afterward if you get the bow-wave wrong and boggy water goes down the heater intake.... which on my Def is on the wing top. It can be pretty awfully too in summer if you forget to close the super effective Air Con vents under the windscren and get water over the bonnet....... straight into your lap 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

btw, thats not my bro-in-law - he's taking the pic. The weird thing is, he went up there straight after, and they couldn't work out how he'd gone over
