Probably a software issue. The car will not start unless the brake pedal is pressed xx%.

Sign of a faulty brake pedal switch? I've seen threads where the solution was to replace the brake pedal switch so it might be a fairly common problem. That or a faulty rear brake bulb |

Have the same issue. Every morning the pedal feels very hard. Have to press really hard. My disco 4 didn't do that at all. Complaint to local dealer, but they weren't very helpfull.
