Started at the top of hill from standstill and thought hill decent and snow and mud setting would keep control. By time I covered 100 metrws with no throttle or brakes the car was sliding with what felt like all four wheels locked up. Turned hill decent off to go round fiesta chicane but 99% of it was done completely out of control. After that I parked it up and used Itchypussy for rest of the week as didn't want to run out of underwear!..... It has TC but no other gizmos and got me everywhere I needed to go bar one hill that was polished ice. There is no way of circumnavigating physics and 2.7 tonnes of metal takes lots of stopping 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀 TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!! Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈 Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱 Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜 |

I'm surprised HDC did nothing for you, mine really held the car in order. Were you in low range ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

No. That was obviously where it all went Pete tong. Selected first in manual but in high range. To be fair the surface was compacted snow and even pedestrian was having problems standing

.....LRE days are good fun, you'll enjoy it. Going on one made a big difference to how I drove in the weather last week. Low range does give the car so much more control. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Will get myself booked in next year. In the interim will play with low range if we get snow. Fullfat has chunkier Tyres on it and owned and insured via work so might be bit braver in it 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

No, East of England was the only one within a couple of hundred miles radius that had availability on any dates that suited me. Wanted to do it in winter so didn't want to delay beyond February. |
