I got a flat blade one from Costco and it's been great. Fitted fine under the cover. |

I think the same. I have round 30.000 miles a year, only the bosch ones are useable that mileage. Also on my other cars before. The originals from LR left at 12.000 miles after a wet winter 2012... But for german highways, i gone back to the LR ones, as those are better designed for higher speed. For my use is now the front with LR blades and the tail the Bosch blade the best solution. But in general I would go or the tail always for flatblades, as they are looking cleaner and the wash-brusches dont lock in. Best, René |

Just got new blades alround for our Octavia Estate. £50 from Skoda but the nice man came out in the rain and fitted them for me saving me from getting messy hands. I did go to the usual places but no one had any available so I had to go with the dealer.

LR price for a rear wiper is indeed about £30 so I buy a genuine Freelander 1 front passenger wiper blade for £7.50, take the rubber out, cut a couple of inches off it and then fit it to the old RRS arm. Rubber cross section is identical and good quality I find. |
