Sat Nav

Hi,

My Sat Nav does not seem to want to give me directions on the screen or give me voice commands, I can type the route in which comes up on the screen but all i get back is '' guidance will start when you join the route'' but this never happens.

Can someone please help.

Thank

Do you ever join the green "planned route" line? RRS gone

have you checked the volume is up on the nav (or it's not muted). RRS gone

scrub that, it's telling you guidance will start.

It sounds like a setting has been enabled to not give any directions, only show the route.

You need to trawl through the settings menu and see if some tickboxes have been unticked RRS gone

Would that be in the main screen or in the hidden screen ?

I have tried the calibration but this seems to do nothing.

thanks

sat nav settings, off the main menu,

calibration will just set the touch screen limit perimeters not change the personal settings. RRS gone

I've also noticed that I don't get the current location which should be in the bar along the bottom of the screen. I also only have two screen options but I understand I should get about 6 types.
Could it be that the sat nav has packed up .

Has anybody else had this problem.

Many thanks

Steve
