You can lift a TDV6 engine out without removing the body, but it is much easier and quicker to lift the body Thumbs Up

Rolling Eyes

AS stated in my first reply, If it is a TDV6, it is quicker, and easier to lift the body off. There was even a how-to (albeit, on a D3) posted. The body can be off in around 2 hours, with the engine out of the car in another hour.

But you do it your way...

Never changed a TDV8, or petrol V8 so cant really comment on them, but every time I would lift the body. Not worth the messing around.

He (jvautos) also seems to have ignored Ian's (Bodsy) excellent suggestion of signing up to TOPIx.
