Yep thats them Smile Im a big supporter of the specialist who knows the car so much more better than some spotty grease monkey who's just there learning his trade and doesnt really understand a car in detail.

I have to say, the stealer mechanics with their up-to-date software, bulletins and direct line to the factory can be really useful - the key is to find a good stealer (LPR) rather than a Censored one (Stratstones). I know one such "monkey" personally and he really knows his stuff.

Thumbs Up ============

2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!

I havnt had a RR for a long time so im out of touch on the stealers good and bad. I know Audi have mixed feedback with the stealer making more effort now than in the past.

I went to see a car at Stratstones up in Glos and liked the car and probably would have bought it but.....I just felt the sales guy was crap and he never to this day ever followed up with me. I'm not sure if it was a classic case of him not taking me seriously as I was dressed in dirty work clothes etc, but I drove the car, was there looking at it for over an hour and he took loads of details but they were quite anal about the price no negotiation take it or leave attitude and nothing else.... strange as I liked to be sold to well and would have bought the car if he actually made an effort. Maybe he had made his bonus already Confused I know this is different from servicing etc but are Stratstones renowned to be crap and vacant in all areas?
