Hello all. My 07 TDV8 recently had a flat battery. After recharging it I noticed that all 4 puddle lights were on permanently, along with the passenger footwell lamp and the light around the ignition key. I removed all lamps except for the ignition one (which I couldn't remove so covered in black tape) which has reduced the drain on the battery.
An auto-elec is 95% sure it's the BeCM, but as it's so expensive to replace he suggests I live without the lamps. Has anyone else had this problem - and if so, what was the root cause?
