Osr door wont open on a rangerover sport 2006

Hi sorry if this has been asked but i couldnt see a search function on the forum.

The osr door wont open as it is locked and wont open with the remote or the button inside car for the central locking.Any sugestions .

Failed door latch, not unlocking. Fairly common, and reasonably cheap to fix Thumbs Up

2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

As above, rear door actuator. I had this problem on mine. If I remember correctly you can get the door open by getting someone inside the car to hold the unlock button whilst opening the door handle. Next step is to replace the actuator. Part cost about £70 I think from the stealers. Changing the part is a bit fiddly but achievable, probably need to get a few clips for the door card as they can snap. I can't remember exactly where I found it, but there is a detailed guide somewhere on the internet, just google away.........

I find that if you press the unlock button on the remote repeatedly, while at the same time, pull the door handle repeatedly, this is normally enough to get the door open. Takes a bit of practice, but I have changed loads of latches on RRS/D3's and 9 times out of 10, that works for me Thumbs Up
