20 inch wheels wanted

Hi,

Looking to replace my 19's with 20 inch alloys, preferably Supercharged alloys from an early car, but must have good quality matching tyres!

Let me know,

Cheers,
Pete

I also have a set of v spokes, 2 decent pirelli scorpion tyres, 2 not so good pirelli scorpion tyres. Worn on shoulder! 2 x wheels have scuffs, 2 in good condition! Pictures can be sent! Would also be looking for £350.

Cheers

Try Jordan at Overfinch (site sponsor). They do some good deals on almost new wheels and tyres with just delivery miles. I doubt he would have the early supercharged ones though. Most probably will be new style take offs from a brand new car.

To be honest, your looking at £800 plus for a set of take offs, and even that would be with run tyres? Nearer 1k for brand new with premium tyres. Other than that it'll be between £200 and £500 for wheels plus £400+ starting at budget tyres. For my tyres are no place to scrimp, but you could buy a set of v spokes then pick up part worn tyres of e-bay or the likes? By the time you pay postage, fuel running around, and £10 a corner to swap tyres over and balance them etc?? Your better just stumping for the take offs! Then you could sell your current wheels to re-coup some of your outlay?? Just my two pence worth, for what it's worth??

Yes, I'm after a decent set of take offs rather than ones that need tyres or have mismatched tyres. If not I'll stick with my 19's and fit a decent set f new tyres. Big Cry

Thanks Bladesman, sounds fair but I'm not a fan of Contis! They always seem to wear very quickly and unevenly. I will keep it in mind though, they do look nice Very Happy

For £400 does it really matter Question They will get you through the winter no problem.

You need to check to see if 20" wheels will go on your motor without any issues, the 2005 model needs the steering rack mod for 20's to fit without fowling i think.
