hi guys looking at buying a 4.2 supercharged sport just wanted to know what kind of problems you get at about 25k miles on a 06 plate and what would be a good price for a 06 with 25k miles..
Also i saw one today and the inside of the oil cap smelt like petrol is that normal? and when the car is idling and you push the accelerator it takes a second to respond.

No idea about prices, but fair idea on the rest.
The oil must be contaminated by fuel. Lots of reasons, but unlikely to be engine wear at 25k. If it is at a dealer then possibly bore wash from being started and idling. The miles are humble but years are still there so make sure it's had annual service regardless of miles. Usual suspension issues that you will read about here and check all the electrics work. Throttle delay was common issue but should have had software update to get rid of it. Sounds like its sat in a garage and not been regularly maintained. All things you can check out. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

thanks for the quick reply. its been sitting for a while without any use so hopefully nothing major has seized also it does have a full dealer history which i will be checking up tomorrow. thanks again simple much appreciated
