Bluetooth Help Please

Hi all does anyone know if there is a way to delete the bluetooth paired phones from a range rover sport 2005.
my phone has worked fine untill i had to change the handset it still work fine except i have to enter the pairing code every time i use it which i didnt before i think the bluetooth memory maybe full !! any suggestions thanks in advance pete

HI Pete,

It's unfortunately nothing to do with the number of paired devices (it simply deletes previous pairings when it gets full and adds a new one).

I can fix the problem for yoiu with a software update, which would also give you the contacts from your phone on the radio display (so you wont need to touch the phone to dial from your phonebook).

You may want to try a full battery disconnection first, just in case its somethign else, but this is a very very common issue with newer phones and older factory fit BT units ( I assume you need to enter 2121 each time)

Disconnect the battery, touch the pos & neg CABLES together (NOT on the battery!) for 20 seconds and then try again.

Its important that the car has gone to sleep before you disconnect the battery.
