answer: when its an evoque

last week i picked up my new RR evoque, Prestige Lux, in Mauritius Blue paid £46K , I loved it so i thought, after driving 200 miles home things started to play on my mind , the drive was very skittish, you can feel every bump and dip in the road, it roared away at the lights sometimes hard to pull away smoothly, The tech was great with dual view screen are quite a talking point, pana roof is its best point, but the seats after 400 miles were not comfortable, it felt like the seat was too small, no place to put your left foot (auto) and at the lights i can feel the vibration from the freelander engine, I went out on Sunday for a drive and popped into another local LR dealer, all the evoque's in the showroom felt the same seats too small, after much consideration, 5 days on I chopped it in for a New Pre reg RRS Hse 3.0d, the difference is amazing, smooth, comfortable, a proper Range Rover. I almost think the evoque should not be in the RR range as it does not feel like RR to drive or in comfort

I can't commend the guys and Guy Salmon in Kingston enough who helped me out I got every penny back on the evoque and saved on the RRS too. Well Done  Tesla Model Y - 2023

This nicely shows how a proper, long test drive is so important. Around the block, as practised by many dealers, just isn't enough. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I agree, I think dealers should have hire stock so if you thinking of spending a lot of money I would be happy to hire (at a subsidized cost) for a few days to get a good test drive, be sure Tesla Model Y - 2023

Having recently had an Evoque for a week whilst my RRS was being repaired, I have to agree R22
I thought it was just me with the left foot rest issue, there is no natural place for it  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
