Memory positions on seats and mirrors

I have it set so when you pull the key out the seat goes all the way back and the steering wheel lifts. Obviously when i get in and put the key in it goes back to the relevant position. A couple of times though i have unlocked with the remote and can see the seat moving and the steering wheel lowering! Why does it sometimes do it when i unlock it? and before i get in it? Have i got a fault?

The mirrors and wheel adjust depending on memory settings??? I didn't kbow this... Is this facelift only??

As rrsboy says, there's a little round knob on the right hand side of the steering column.

Seat, wing mirrors and steering wheel all auto adjust with memory setting in mine (09 reg) also. Although not sure if it was standard in HSE or an added extra.

I thought this was only available post facelift although from memory the old P38 FFRR did have it as well 10 TDV8 Santorini

My 2005 S/C has independent memory settings for each key, couldnt figure out why the drivers seat kept changing position until i realised i was swapping the keys over Wink d'oh Why?.. Because i can....
