Anyone else quotes and prices won't reflect on what you pay as prices are down to the individual

So you've bought a car without checking things like insurance? Hmmm what's the worst that could happen! |

Havn't you had use of a company car? If so then you might be able to get a discount through proving you have been driving a company car for x number of years without a claim but you will need a letter from the company to prove this. As far as your girl friend is concerned, do you really want her to drive a 2.5 ton motor so soon after passing her test and risk messing up your own insurance |

1. Take the girlfriend off the policy. You can hire a lot of taxis for that sort of money!

I agree with ADY and RRSTDV8 take your girlfriend of.. Also dont rely on just the comparison sites try some of the others, Churchill and Direct Line. I run six vehicals and Direct Line have been 50% cheaper than the comparison sites. I've just insured my 2010 TDV8 with them market value £42,000. for £186.50 no bull. It is with multi car and home insurance discount though. Martyn

Toni, advising someone to insure a car without modifications is a little risky IMHO

From my experience you end up cheaper if you modify the car after you are insured. Get the insurance first than call and notify them about the changes. Insurance with allready modified cars is much higher. !!! RRS TDV8 !!! |

I really can't see why people want to modify what is already a fantastic vehicle to look at and to drive?
