you can activate only your leds, i did it for my FFRR, u will need a faultmate though for it, goto body control, under lights, just activate your DRL, disable both canadian and scandinavian drl options, so that only the dotted leds come on.

Out of interest the standard exhaust pipes are stainless steel and not mild steel. Try getting a magnet to stick to them.
