hi i have a range rover sport sc 2006 when i turn the ignition key seems to turn over a few times before it starts and this morning felt like it was going to cut back out as any one got an idea what the problem is or does it turn over a few times before start

This has started on my s/c, since it has cooled down a bit, turns over. Fires then cuts out... Turns over second time and wont fire, third time with foot on accelerator turns and fires with some smoke from rear as if its flooded (smell of petrol from exhaust) then runs fine , have new battery and alternator with no other problems..

This has happened 3 times in past 3 weeks...



OBD read does throw up any errors either. Anyone else ?? Why?.. Because i can....
