Anyone had (and fixed) what sounds like a rattle from behind the dash at speeds above about 80klms/h. If I had to guess I'd say it's the speedo cable. Remember the old days when the speedo needle on a lot of cars would shudder at/above a certain speed and give off a sound (?) - then my problem sounds a bit like that. The dealer reckons not the cable but "just one of those things that loosen over time" but thought I'd post the question anyway. Damn annoying 'cause it's the only "rattle" the car makes,.......so it is one of those things that MUST BE FIXED. Mine is a 2007 RRS TDV6 and has done a bit of dirt work.

Mine had the same problem when I bought it. Took it back to the dealer and they ended up replacing the whole instrument cluster. Problem sorted.
