RRS v IKEA

Well, after purchasing all the stuff (bar two small out of stock items Banging Head ) for my sons bedroom last night, I proceeded to the 'Home Delivery' desk........"Yes Sir, not a problem Sir......that'll be £60 Sir"........for a 10 mile journey Shocked Thud..............I don't think so. Twisted Evil

So, I popped out and got the RRS, dropped the seats and set about playing 'giant tetris'.
These things are cavernous Cool

So I give you the result of when IKEA met the RRS

RRS....1 - IKEA....0 Cool Mr. Green

And before the HSE lot start...I did secure the stuff inside and could see out of all my mirrors, didn't drive fast...blah blah....

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Nice one

I got ikea standard wardrobes for the old house, as they were £12000 Shocked cheaper than the sliderobe the wife had seen

Went up really easy doing it myself and when selling the chap got them thrown in as part of his full asking price offer, never did tell him they were cheap ikea ones

To be honest Nick, similar situation, we looked at and were quoted for various built in solutions, but they were extortionate for what is a 'kids' bedroom.
I liked the fact you can get some funky stuff in IKEA (we've gone for gloss white and gloss grey doors), it doesn't break the bank (that lot was just over £1k), so worst case we could change it in a few years if we wanted to. Not something I'd be happy doing with the 8-9k option we were quoted previously.

That said, I do like the Hulsta stuff..... ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
