United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Zermatt Silver
Turbo Part Number

Got car booked into a local (ish) independant LR place for a second opinion about the P132B fault on Friday.

Sort of resided to the fact that a turbo might tbe required, so started to look for one - but so many part numbers - Help!! Crying or Very sad

Mines a 2007 SE TDV6, I've seen a few different numbers;-

1) a 4H2Q-6K6**** number
2) a 5304-970-*** number
3) a LR021042 number

What do they all mean and which one is the correct one for mine?

Can I fit one with a slightly different part number?

Where is the best place to get one so I've got some beer vouchers left?

Is it better to get a new one, a reconditioned one or mine repaired??

Any advice appreciated...........Boost.

Just had a quick look online and there dont seem to be many options other than genuine part for a lot of money! Hopefully someone will come along with a suggestion for you.

Your friendly local Bearmach supplier pays less than £700 (+ VAT) for them. You may get a good deal from them, if you have one local to you.

Alternatively, they are on Ebay. Stay away from cheaper "re-con" ones. The electronic part of the actuator (apparently) can't be calibrated by anyone other than Borg-Warner, I have been told...

Alternatively, try Google: http://www.lrdirect.com/LR021042-Turbocharger-Assy/?sfi=lr021042

Yeah seen that one on ebay and made the guy an offer, but declined, he wants more than LR link you posted (£869 inc. vat)

Also got some prices back today from some enquires on the internet, from £398 for an exchange unit to £829 +vat for a new one.

Found a local bearmach distributor, so I've emailed them to ask for a price - Thanks.

It's goindg in to have the codes read again, but a different place, 2nd opinion type thing.

Just wondering if its worth trying one of the actuator kits LR023086, anyone got any experience of fitting one?

Yes, they are a complete ball-ache to fit...

If your actuator linkage is moving freely, don't bother replacing the rod, as it will be a waste of time and money. Been there, done that Whistle
