Finnally picked them up, thought saturday couldn't come sooner..
WOW.. bloody nascar, thats the only way to describe the cars..
Handover went smoothly, clock work time (was wide awake at 6am.. hardly slept a wink, despite staying out till 2am to make myself sleepy so this didn't happen!)

Anyway, cars were spot on, no problems, apart from both of the bluetooth aren't working yet (seems to be setup problem)... cars are very technologically advanced.. So far done over 250 miles, and have had about 5 cars try it on with me, seems the brand and car are getting a lot of street cred..
R32 just tried to have it off through some country lanes this evening, a guy i know through a friend, tried it on through shirley on my way out this morning in his stripped and modded Zetec S fiesta, obviously no competition, and when going to my sisters last night, some toss** in his rover 75 ZT thingy majig, thought he actually had a fast car, till i wiped the floor with him on the M6 northbound.. And all withing staying below 5,000 revs! the Sport button makes a very very big difference.. am finding the car is getting a lot more attention then the RRs ever did, both good and bad, not taking any risks, and glad i've upgraded security to the level that i have..

Paul is a real nice guy, and Audi handover to him went smoothly after flogging his RRS to another broker on friday. Seems residuals on the RRs are starting to soften somewhat now, not a dig or anything, just a warning, they are actualy suffering losses every month through book values now, which they hadn't done till a few months ago, and when ringing the same people for Paul's as mine back in April, i was being met with a lot of no's and silly offers, seems there are a few knocking around now which traders can get their hands on. Im not sure what the TDV8 will do to this further and despite the HST being horrid, thats likely to effect the book on the SC models too.. but its all relative, all cars loose money, we just have to decide which ones we prefer to loose the money on!

Anyway, without further a'do.. here are some pics from the handover day, as desired, it was a gorgeous day with not a hint of clouds, so day was mint and cars looked fantastic all prep'd up at Audi.

Well after just terrorising the neighbourhood until 11:30pm, i thought i had better get the car off the road before the rozzers come and have a word!

MPG wise, im getting 12mpg all town and (very fast) driving..
but the petrol isn't dropping as quick as anticipated (which is always a bonus) but i am still on the free tank from audi, so it always feels better when driving on other people's juice!

Apparently the RS4 is more fuel efficient then the S4, the FSI engine and the tweaked bits in the engine, make it more efficient pulling the weight around. Its soo bloody difficult driving this thing slowly, mostly im going through 1st/2nd and then going straight to 4th to calm it down...
My neighbours have already started giving me evils, despite them being quite nice to me before.. somehow i think this car is going to be a great experience to own. I still think its a little raw and rough for an everyday car, due to the noise and attention it creates, but its very good at scaring the general public.. they are expecting a large motorbike or a cherry bombed Nova, and what they get is a suitably smart grey Audi A4.. think i will debadge it in a couple of weeks, and will settle down a bit as soon as playtime is over, but as it stands right now.. its fun, fun, fun all the way!

I think i will get the rs4 badges removed soon, when i get my tints done. Im going through pentagon glass, but have a client who used to sell equipment, so getting a quote at mates rates from the Bham division hopefully.

Just drove from my home to the office this morning, driving normally, and my live MPG readout was giving me betweek 18-22mpg, and the average has now come up to 16mpg, i think this engine is as clarkson said: "i fear im sitting about 2 ft away from one of the worlds greatest engines.. ever!".. hehe..

Jay still on 4 tmrw mate?

Hey guys

I can confirm I'm the new owner of that Black RS4.

Very pleased with it so far, although was pretty sad to see the RRS go.

Kam, thanks again for sorting everything out.
