Why does my drivers seat always reposition to my wife's ridiculously small settings every time I get out of the car or lock it. There must be some memory setting on keys or on the car as a whole but it's immensley frustrating and I can't find anything in the manual to explain how to turn it off. We use different keys so I'd hoped it would remember mine too?

The memory seats can be key specific, I think it's called smart entry or something like that. If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed. |

I'd like to know this too, as I have the same issue. My 2006 RRS had seat memory specific to the key, but theres nothing in the manual about it being in the 2010+ models ?

Likewise tonser, tried to find these on my MY12 and no luck - I did have a key specific setting feature on my 5 series BMW, but I cannot find anything in the manual on my RRS.

Once the power operated driver's seat, steering column and exterior mirrors are adjusted, the vehicle can memorize these settings for future use.

That's helpful, and very similar to the above, but I can't seem to access the settings menu! Is it the screen between the dials? I've tried every key position and pressed the "i" button on the left stalk but all I can get it to do is reset the trip info! 07 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys |08 XF SV8 on order. |
