SOLD 20" MY2010 HSE 15-Spoke Alloys (Style 3) + Tyres

I have now fitted the 2012 Alloys I had for sale as I plan to keep my RRS for the time being - I am therefore selling the alloys that were on my vehicle. They have done approx 20k as I had a winter set until recently

They have Continental tyres (4-5mm Tread) with some stone marks in tread due to soft compound. Black and silver Land Rover centre caps. The edges were feathered by 7k miles/1st service but have not got any worse since and LR have stated this is a characteristic of the Continental tyre and they are perfectly legal http://www.rrsport.co.uk/gallery/albums/us...tern~0.pdf

I am offering 2 options

Option 1 - I sell the set for £600 collected or BigDave on Disco will deliver for extra £67

Option 2 - if enough people are interested in full size spares - I sell the 3 best alloys individually for £200 each (over £300 on ebay) and either my unused steel spare or the marked alloy for £100 collected or BigDave will deliver for extra £17 each

One Alloy is slightly scratched but only noticeable if you look closely when on the vehicle

One alloy is marked and I can keep this for my spare if they sell individually and sell my spare - it was fine last week when I washed them and I have not caught anything since so I am very confused. It also has a puncture repair

BC - These are LR Style 3 20" 15 spoke as stated in the heading

Guy on ebay asking £335 for same alloy chipped with 2.3-3.8mm so I will decline your offer for now

Muddy I bought a take off set from Jordan at overfinch & sold my old damaged ones on ebay.

If you advertise as VW T 5 in heading as well as RRS then you get a lot more interest & better prices, granted evil bay takes a slice but I'm sure I sold mine for £600 cash, 2 had kerb scrapes & were 2008 wheels not 2010 wheels & had Focus 8000 tyres !!

Good luck & worth a punt on ebay - that style you would be lucky to get for less than £750

Decided to offer here first then Ebay if nobody wants them

Was going to ask £750 but reduced them when I discovered the marked alloy - still at a loss how that happened - I am so careful

I am really happy with the RRS at the moment but dealer has still not set up the 2 year warranty agreed when I accepted it back and is ignoring my emails - I can not see how a franchised dealer can get away with this behaviour

Good to hear your feeling the love for your RRS again

Muddy, call EVERY day, be persistent

if you don't get the paperwork in the next 7 days, visit the dealership in person and don't leave until you have a letter confirming their promise and confirming your additional warranty. I'd also send a letter to the dealer principle (cc'ing the chairman of the whole dealer group) setting out exactly what was offered and a timescale of when you expect the paperwork. Send it recorded to both people so there is no wriggling out that they didn't receive it.
They made a promise of extending your warranty as a 'good will' gesture for damaging your RRS and need to honour it. Good luck

Its the dealer principal I keep emailing, who offered and confirmed it had been set up 5 weeks ago

He has just replied blaming Stratstone Doncaster for it not being set up

I thought these were cheap compared to ebay but need the space so price reduced

Collected £575 for set or if enough members interested - 3 best @ £175 Each and £90 for marked alloy or steel spare - buyer chooses

Usually Muddy, I would have said yup, ship one over ...............but I've just paid out for insurance on mine and Mrs Beans cars, along with 2 x services and road tax mine due next month so 'non-essential' spend has been suspended temporarily.
