General AT

Last week someone phoned me of the forum and asked what the noise level was with the 275/40x20 General AT on a Sport, lost the number so thought I would post my findings here...........on a 350 mile round trip yesterday to Devon in a V8 Sport with 275/45x20 General AT fitted and three passengers we all found it a nice ride with no noticeable increase in noise, I found the steering spot on as well, I upped the pressure +4psi from standard on the return trip which I liked for my driving style, rear passengers said it felt a little harsher.

Did not check the fuel but I tend not to worry much about fuel.

I know some will say "you used 275/45x20 not 275/40x20"........ I don't think it would be any different. Thumbs Up Please call us 01737 241370 for the quickest response Smile

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I think it would. 45 profile versus 40 profile on 20" wheels have a superior ride. No apparent speedo difference. I have GG UHP on my RRS TDV8 275 x 45 x 20, replacing Pirelli Scorpions 275 x 40 x 20. Much better ride, and less wear. Alloys less vulnerable as well.
