Firstly let me say hello to everyone - been lurking but only registered today - a great and informative website!

Have just picked up a RRS, first one I have had (spec in signature), and have a question - I know that this has been discussed in a previous thread, but seemed confusing....just me being thick I expect!

My car has reversing camera only, not surround camera's. When in reverse the guidelines show, but do not move when I turn the steering wheel, nor do proximity indicators show on the screen - is this correct for a 2011 RRS without surround cameras?

Seems pointless if this is standard, and may as well not have reversing camera! That said, the car is absolutely stunning, and cant fault it.

To my shame I had a RRE for 6 months prior, and whilst it was a good car, it was not in my opinion a RR. Yes, unless you have the surround camera's the lines stay straight, as you say, quite pointless.

I wonder if this is something that can be activated with Autologic though  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

What I don't get, on the 13my and probably the 12, you can see the sensors graphically in relation to the car, just not at the same time as the camera Mike
