Oman 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

This is a never ending story I'm afraid guys... Basically, the garage has now checked and with the D197 relay installed the system functions, without modifying the ccf Thumbs Up

However, and it's a biggy... my mirrors don't have the motors installed Big Cry I have, however, found the motors for a bargain price however would like to know if all the relays, harnesses etc are in place and I get the motors installed will the power fold work, or will I need some extra parts to 'mount' the motors and get them to fold the mirrors.

Basically, all I'd get is the motors, would I need any extra linkages, connectors for the power fold to work, or do the motors drop into the mirro housing and act as the lever themselves by virtue of the way they are fitted??

Thanks again in advance Smile

Cheers

Cheers Mike,

I think I'm going to give up this as the garage now says whilst it looks like the motors would be a direct fit, the wiring harness in the doors is incomplete so the motors can't be controlled without replacing the whole door harness Big Cry which frankly is too much money and hassle for a bit more functionality...

Oh well back to manual folding it is then, even though it looks Censored folding the mirrors manually on such an expensive car... Land Rover, Land Rover what can we say to save a few quid.... and to make matters worse my mates 06 LR3 HSE has the power fold function Evil or Very Mad

Cheers

Hi Guy,

I know it's been a while since you last attempted the power folding mirror retrofit, but I was wondering if you remember what the part number was for the relay (D197) the fold back module. I am thinking about attempting this retrofit and am trying to gather as much info on this as possible prior to ordering all the costly parts.

Thank you for your help!

Sorry for the late reply. Have a look at the link below that I've just found should give you the part no. And a how to install everything.

Thank you very much Guy! This give me a pretty good idea of how to proceed. Only thing I do not know for sure is the wiring harness compatibility - hopefully, this is plug and play with the new mirrors and relay.

Thanks again!
