Ive a 2007 2.7 hse. Dealer tells me that I can't have the dash clock permanently displyed. Is this the case if it isn't where do I tell them to look on their pc they use to update the software

Your dealer can't update it, but I can
It needs the 08 software to get it displayed permanently.

Can the MY10 Dash be updated to the MY10 to the new design to show the radio station and the other info that the newer shows?¿

I'm not sure TBH, but I would have thought that it was possible. I've recently seen this on a d4, so it makes sense for rrs 2012 to be able to be put on 2010.  Bodsys Brake Bible

mine is a D4...

as far as a RRS is a D4 mechanically speaking, they should be upgradeable isn't they?

You cant update the 2010 software to the 2012/13 software to display the info in the central screen...apparently you shouldnt be able to take it from the 2011 to the 12/3 design either. Mike

According to LR, you can't put the clock on the dash or put the three flash lights on older vehicles either

Is that with LR tools or other tools like the faultmate that you can't do it with?

Well actually the dealer stuff you can...if you get a none brain dead technician. Alas i wasnt talking about dealer stuff (or faultmate which isnt much better)

No it was a general statement - the 2011MY and 2013MY central hardware is the same bar some minor changes - the central screen (between the clocks) I think might be different, it was a while ago when i tried to get it added - but I was assured you cant

Similar to the hardware from the pre 10 to the post 10 is different.
