Strange vibration

So my sport was in the garage last week for 100k service while there got dics and pads and wheel bearing changed (done under warranty). I got back to the uk a couple of days later as soon as I drove it for the 1st time it was pulling very bad to the left and was getting lots of vibration through the wheel. Straight back to the garage, to cut along story short they find that front drivers side tyre is deformed so they move it to the back and now no vibration has anyone else heard of this? Also they found a fuel leak so changed the fuel filter aswell.

deformed sounds scary and why is it ok to have them on the back? We need pics of this deformity

I had 22" wheels years ago that ended up with eggs on the inside which resulted in vibration. They were very dangerous and came off and went in the bin.

Deformed = new tyre in my book. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

That's what I thought aswell and they could not really explain why. I have not long came back from the garage that I get my tyres from and he took all wheels and tyres off inspected them all and found no problems at all. I now think it may have been down to them changing the wheel bearing wrong and not wanting to own up to it.
