Being devil's advocate I can think of a whole host of reasons why that wouldn't be safe or good. -Different tread pattern, what would happen in an emergency braking situation ? -Tyre compound not designed for speed but for longevity while not being used -Diff damage through constant uneven wheel speed if the rolling radius isn't identical -Tyre pressure may not be accurate unless you check it as regularly as your main wheels "Roads ? Where we're going there are no roads." Back to the future. |
