Hi Guys

i'm Contemplating getting a RRS in the supercharged option and wanted to get some opinions from you guys with regards to reliability, how they cope with high miles eg 100k

What to look out for? What options are a must have, What colours to avoid and anything else

i don't really know much about them apart from the basics

Thanks Much

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 Siberian Silver

Milage shouldn't be an issue as long as its serviced, however these thing EAT fuel..... I recon mine is running at 50p a mile.

Checklists ( which I didn't have !)

Drive the car and go through the gears in manual, basically flog it death for a bit Smile
Check reversing and forward sensors, water ingress or excessive jet washing causes issues
Double and triple check the heating/ blowers, make sure cold and hot comes out where it should!
Check the seats go all the way through there position max and mins
Same with mirrors, inc fold
Check the tyres and I mean check they can be difficult to see, I had one replaced on mine that was down to the thread, from the rear you couldn't really see!
Check the lower ratio box and the drive modes, drive it in all modes.
Send the car up and down on its suspension a dozen or so times

If you really want to be careful, spend 15quid on a code reader and take a laptop with you, 2min job to read any codes lingering about. If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.
