have read all i can find on this but cant see the definitive answer to the question.

i have the classic ticking noise that if it were a 3.5 V8 would say is a cracked manifold or blown gasket the old RR's used to sufer with.

someone descibed as a old amercian pickup truck. its only noticable on reasonable acceleration, gentle crusing makes no noise, could be something related to the superchager???

the stealer tells me at every service its normal for the older supers' to do this, 'you should hear some of the ones we see'

i am close to selling it!!!! i hate this noise, the summer months with the windows down really drives me mad.

does anyone know the solution???
