Wheel spacers?

Question Anybody fitted wheels spacers to they're RRS? Been told by LR today I need 5mm spacers fitted to front wheels as the brembo Calipers are too close to my inner wheels(they are very close I'm talkin 1mm), my question is has any body else done this and should I fit them to the rear also to not cock the alignment and 4wd system up? Java black 2006

England

I've had spacers on my RRS before (7mm) because my aftermarket wheels were too close to the brembos.

Few things:-

If you are particular about your cars (which you probably are) you will need to put spacers on the back too because although 5mm doesn't sound alot, you will notice the front wheels jutting out of the arches compared with the backs.

Because of the above you must get some mud flaps fitted asap! again 5mm doesn't sound alot but I got loads of stone chips up my doors with the wheels now being slightly outside of the arches.

You wont need extended wheel nuts the originals will fit fine.

Out of interest what wheels are you fitting?

What size rims are you running with the Brembos?

If the tight clearance is with the harmonic weights fitted to top and bottom on the back of the front calipers these can be rotated 180 to give more clearance. I have done this on my Sport when the 18inch 'winter' wheels are fitted.
