Steering wheel judder

Had new brembo front disks and pads fitted recently and now when I hit the brakes hard I get severe steering judder, it does not happen if I apply gently and smoothly, are my discs warped or is there something else wrong. Thanks

sounds like the pistons need cleaning ...slow pressure overcomes any rust etc where as 'hard' brake pressure will cause the piston to 'judder'...

My first post , and I realise this original post was some time ago. But did you ever get to the bottom of this ?
I just changed my brembo front pads and disks with original brembo parts nod have the exact same problem.
Clunking , feel it on the pedal and steering wheel. More so when average braking , hard braking very slightly.
Many thanks
