For Sale - RRS TDV8

Hi all

The time has come to part with my beloved TDV8 Big Cry .

58 plate RRS TDV8 in Stornoway Grey.

Full TDV8 (HSE) spec to include full black leather interior, Sat Nav, 6 CD, parking sensors, electric memory seats, heated seats front and back, 20inch wheels, TV, fridge, privacy glass, climate control, OEM rubber mat set, etc.

The car has full main dealer service history - all paperwork and receipts available.

Full details and photos here:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4093606.htm

£27,000

Would love it to go to a forum member so can be a little flexible on the price (and a donation to site would also follow).

Thanks for reading, and PM me with any queries. Thumbs Up

Al

Three things:-

On forum most already have a RRS so most are just voyeurs

Wrong time of year to sell big 4x4 drop like a stone in the summer

On PH everyone wants a bargain

Not a lot of help but just why probably no interest

Persevere but it may take some time Thumbs Up Paul

Cap retail is only 28k on yours mate, market is a hard game at The moment and dealers are selling well under cap retail I expect your a little high on your private sale price.

This all depends on condition though.

If the car is outstanding and way above what the normal is (there a plenty of untidy abused cars out there) then hold for your money if you have the time.

GOOD sports are hard to find and are worth the extra money.

Anybody looking who has done their research will now a refreshed front end suspension with good tyres etc etc will save thousands in the very short term compared to a badly knocking car with 2k miles left in tyres.

Not all cars are worth the same even though they have the same mileage and prefix.

I quite aware of that , Every retail RRS from a main dealer requires the same level of preperation, and comes with a min warranty. My point being dealers are selling under the cap retail which puts this one on par with LR forecourt prices ie a LR prepared car, with a used warranty and dealer facilities. OP asked why his car wasn't selling I'm offering my advise, he can feel free to completely ignore it of course.

I understand your point.

I wasnt having a go.

Just because its a dealer car doesnt make it a good one.

Warranty etc etc doesnt make a bad car good.

You cant polish a ....

Often dealers think they can sell poor cars just because they are dealer cars.

You were making your point and I mine.

.
