Craazzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeee drivers

Last evening driving home from a great Defender offroading day at Crieff I was driving down the M9 to Stirling and had a bright red Dodge Viper (the new one I think, that has 2 "domes" on the roof to give headroom) sat on my tail for a couple of miles........................ it was on USA plates too. Funny thing was he was happy to sit at 65-70 but was being tailgated by a bunch of "chav lads" in a Citroen Saxo (in red complete with twin stripes up the bonnet and over the roof, Viper style!) who obviously wanted to see if the Viper would take the bait and disappear over the horizon. The Viper driver pulled out into the outside lane and cruised passed at no more than 70, waved at me and pulled in in front of me. While he was in the outside lane the Saxo stayed right on his tail flashing headlightlights and hooting as if it was anxious to get passed. Saxoboy nearly got hmself and and his 3 passengers killed when he jumped back into the nearside lane about 2 feet infront of me and then braked. Saxo V Viper, no brainer for speed and acceleration, Saxo V Defender in a smash................ I dread to think, I would just have driven straight over the top and hardly felt the bump I suspect 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Tim, you should have put your foot down instead of stamping on your brakes. Like you said, you would have probably driven straight over the top of them and hardly felt a thing.

I'm sure plenty of us would have volunteered to help jetwash the crud from your chassis. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Strange VA, I was sure that I recognised the driver.................... but no matter how young you might think you are, these guys didn't look old enough to be shaving. Laughing

Would the drivers seat in a Saxo go back far enough to get VA's belly behind the wheel? Wink Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

VA I'll have you know that my Defender is not knackered.................... it might have a few bashes and scratches but at 10 years old and with 65000 miles under the wheels (it's second set since build too!) it just goes from strength to strength and is only just run in. It never misses a beat and has never dripped any oil which is truely astounding, I thought there was something wrong with it at first, there being no oil spots on the garage floor or drive! One thing for sure, I doubt the Sport will have the longevity of any of the older Landies, LR just don't build them like they used to.
