Isn't super extended accessed by getting it to go in to extended mode and then holding the raise button for a specified period of time?

I thought the car put itself in the extra extended mode when it had all wheels off the ground |

It does for the first bit 1.5 inches, then you can do the previously mention method to get a bit more, clever stuff!! Range Rover Vogue Classic 3.9 V8 1992

I remember reading that if the car is in off road height and becomes grounded (sensed by load off the wheels and the TC working overtime) then it will automatically extend by a further amount (50mm?). At this point, one can ask for a little bit more (up to a total extra of 75mm?) by holding the raise button.

Correct. You must have your foot on the brake to get the second lift. You can fool it by putting block under the jack up point when in off road height, doors shut, engine running, lower and it will sense an obstruction and raise up. Going to try it soon. Range Rover Vogue Classic 3.9 V8 1992

The sport has exactly the same ground clearance - the suspension when you get past it has the same clearance Mike
