Just trying to redress the balance here;
Muddywheels is having a shocker of an experience with his but..........

I have an 07 TDV6 and am very pleased with the car. I enjoy driving it, washing/cleaning it and adding bits to it.
I have a good relationship with the company that maintains it who incidentally are not Land Rover dealers but a non franchised LR specialists, They source there parts much cheaper from overseas (and carry a huge amount of stock), provide a service car and look after me very well.

It is inherent from forums that the most talked about topics are the one based around problems, be that the cars, your own or other peoples fault. I just wanted to say I've had very a positive tenure with my RRS and with the exception of having to change the EGR valves no reliability problems. I know its an expensive car to maintain but I knew that before I bought it. It is however a heap cheaper to run than the Landcruiser VX 100 I used to have (diesel wise anyway).

Non of this is to take away the fact some have bad experiences with their cars and this would be the fact for any marquee I belive. So just saying I am very happy with my choice of car and still look forward to driving it every day.
