A couple of strange occurrences......

Hi, I have a 56 plate 2.7 tdv6 HSE that I love to bits. However over the last couple of weeks or so I've noticed a couple of strange things happening ....

The first was when I was washing the tailgate I noticed some strange scratches that line up perfectly with a couple of metal bits on the rear wiper if it had attempted to rotate the wrong way during operation. I can't imagine how this could happen but it's odd how the scratches line up perfectly.

Next is the touch screen, the other day it was stuck on the welcome screen. Well not exactly stuck as the hard buttons worked fine but not the touch screen. After 5 mins or so of driving it worked fine. The same thing happened again this morning but after a minute of driving I wiped the screen with my hand and it started working.....am thinking maybe static build up or something?

Yesterday the sat nav lost it's position for about 10 mins. I was driving along and three little arrow was hurtling through fields etc and suddenly came good. We live in the country side so it can't be buildings obscuring the signal or anything.

The final thing is the other day the yellow engine symbol lit up just after I'd pulled away from being parked. It stayed on until I switched the engine off and it said Park Brake Fault?

Sorry for the massive message, I thought I'd ask on here first before I went to my local dealer.....who incidentally is a robbers dog Smile

Thanks in advance. Grant.

Not sure about all if these but mine did something similar with sat nav loosing map. Took the disc out of player under passenger seat and cleaned thick layer of dust off it. Worked fine after that. Not sure what the rest is. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Maybe it was a new road you were driving on and the sat-nav thinks you are in a field? Maybe need an updated disc! Range rover sport 3.6tdv8

Thanks for the replies. It was a road I travel on a lot and it does exist on the disc so I'm gonna check the disc for dirt and have the battery checked out as advised. Will keep you posted, thanks again.
