If its not this, it's another thing.
Doesn't surprise me in the least that back handers were given to firms to be involved - I've come to expect nothing less from our governments Rolling Eyes ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Bean hits the nail on the head - the companies were offered tax dodges as a way to get them to sign up to "support" the Olympics. No business is going to turn down a legal way of keeping some of its money for shareholders rather than the tax man.

The politicians and civil servants who inked the deal should be named and shamed just as much as the companies who potentially benefitted. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

To be fair all of this and the whole Jimmy Carr thing..........if someone offered me a legal way to pay less tax or no tax I would take it without any moral issues.

Their are people who contribute nothing their whole lives on the dole taking and giving nothing back.

I take very little and give very much.....income tax, corporation tax, company car tax VAT, NI etc etc.

As I see it I already pay for about 20 scroungers a year and have paid more than a lifetimes worth already, so anything I can save I will with no emotion whatsoever.

Screw you tax man.

+1 Jonny, but the problem comes when you want to retire, there won't be enough coffers in the pot to pay you because all the scumbags are taking it now while we still provide for them. Censored Mr. Green

Yes me too, but why shouldn't you get back at lease some of the money you have put into the country all these years
