Supercharged exhaust tips for everyone?

Some guy we don't much care for on rangerovers.net claims that, as of an unspecified build date, all Sport trims (as a reminder, in the US we only get 4.4 liter HSE and SC, no diesels, S, or SE trims) are getting SC exhaust tailpipes installed as standard equipment. Can any insider verify if this is the case?

I saw a brand new, white HSE rolling off the Land Rover Encino (California) dealership lot this afternoon - I was next door on a business call. Sure enough, the car had the round Supercharged tips sticking out the back... I hate to admit it, but this guy (an employee of a Land Rover dealership in the US) might be right. And it may be happening now, before the MY07 comes out.

Why would LR do that? To make the SC even less desirable? What next, super charger badges on non super charged models? Or the grills and side vents? 2006 RRS Silver/Black

Mmmmmm...shiny Smile Smile

You know you want to.......

If possible though, go for the full system. A) I think it is better value and B) that's what makes the nice noise.

Well, now we know why... Future Sport S/C will only come in SHT trim (that's how it should be called, anyway), so there will be no mistaking that blingmobile for a classy, normally aspirated or diesel Sport... Crying or Very sad It's LR's way of telling current S/C owners " Censored you and thanks for your business!"
