Hi all, looking to set up my ipod and operate through cars controls, can this be done on my 56 plate HSE ?

Would also be keen on this for a 58 plate 3.6 HSE as bit of a chore changing it on the iphone all the time. RRS 3.8 TDV8 Stornoway Grey full colour coding.

What year is a 56 plate? I used an iPhone interface on my 2008 RRS SC enabling the use of the steering wheel buttons etc for music and phone calls.....

Yes there is an ipod interface available, but in Germany Netherlands and France it is out of stock for months already( i am eagerly waiting on one since december) but this is only for the RRS models till 2009 models. The interfaces for the facelifts are in stock.

Have you tried the Bay of E or even the USA? I ordered mine from Stratestones and had it within weeks. (that was last year though) Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

Whilst you're at it you might want to contact those nice people at KUDA mounts for what I consider to be the nicest looking and most conveiniant mounting cradle for iPhones and iPods.

Anyone know the part number for the genuine item up to 2009 models, I'm using the aux but would rather not have to select music from the ipod on the go..

Cannot find the partnumber i've just checked the invoice but it is available again since i've had it installed in march. But any Landrover dealership can help you out. It cost me a total of 575euro but it is worth evevry euro sound quality is improvef considerably since i don't use the aux anymore.

Sounds £££ excessive, perhaps this included the main dealer installation costs.

575 € comes to £ 400 and yes thatbis including installation costs. All the functions go through the touchscreen now and the ipod stays in the glovecompartment.
