First Sign of those Quirky Land Rover Glitches?

So, just over 2 weeks in and still enjoying the car and have today had the first experience of what I've become so used to with my FFRR over the years - those odd little problems that happen (I hope) just every now and then. Not enough to send you rushing back to the dealers, but something that's all part and parcel of Land Rover ownership.

Main header unit screen remained obstinately blank for a couple of hours journey tonight, although everything else seemed to be working ok - I just couldn't see the screen. I tried switching on/off, but it was only after a decent 20 minute rest break that the system seemed to have sufficient time to re-boot itself and the problem went away (for now?). Now I think about it, I seem to recall this happening once or maybe twice over the three plus years I've had my Vogue, so I'm guessing that the boffins at Land Rover have been kind enough to retain this software glitch in newer models to save me getting all nostalgic!

I've seen a few posts that seem to relate to similar problems from other posters. Has there been any conclusive diagnosis/common fault that I need to raise with LR, or is it just 'one of those things?' 2014 3.0 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey with Ebony/Cirrus
