I bloody hope so, because mine is bought and paid for Thumbs Up Yes it does cover cars that are bought and paid for, to give you and idea of how it works, if you paid say 50k for your motor depending on which policy you have taken out, (mine is a 4 year policy) lets say my motor got written off in year 3-4, insurance coff up 25k the gap insurance coff up the other 25k to make it back upto the full purchase price of the vehicle having said that, you would have to decide what upper limit you want to take out at the time of purchase, mine is 25k i think, i think you can only take out a policy at the time of purchase, Kam site sponsor can give you more advise than me, hope this helps Thumbs Up

I have one, and it makes me feel somewhat safe. A new battery was being fitted to my RRS just recently, as soon as they took out the old battery, cobra tak called me withing 5 secs to confirm the security questtions. That was a great feeling. So it's up to you. Vadim A.

The trouble with Trackers is they are easy to disarm you dont need to block them, the unit can be blown i've seen it done in a demo, it takes seconds. Can't tell you on a forum how it's done.

@ rstebbings - as has been said, GAP insurance covers the difference between your insurance payout and the original purchase price (return to invoice GAP - RTI) with a caveat of a maximum payout of say £25k.
Mine was £190 for 4 years cover (from MHC - Kam, a sponsor on here) so a 'no brainer' really.

Worth looking into as I believe Kams policies can be done within the first 6 months of ownership. Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

What I find incredible is that land rover insurance require new vehicles over 50k to have a tracker installed... Seems strange that they are unable to insure a lr/rr product in std spec if it's value is over 50 k 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

Yeah does sound a bit like that. It was a demo for installers with the police about how easy it was to blow out alarm systems and trackers. It was so easy it was scary. They were proving how to take a any car in les than 30 seconds, this was before the key technology .

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a "GSM Tracking Device". There are so many on the internet ant I don't know which seller to believe. The reason I want one fitted in a hidden place on my car is because I suspect my wife wants to run away with RRS.
Rolling with laughter

Anyone using any kind of this devices? Can you recommend one?

P.S. Today In London is a sunny day. !!! RRS TDV8 !!!
