England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I really can not believe the way you are being treated by both the dealership and Land Rover Customer Relations!

I would have thought that they would be bending over backwards to come up with an overly generous solution to your problems, especially as the Land Rover dealership caused them all. Shocked

If anyone from Land Rover ever reads these threads heres a quick message for you - In the past 8 months I have spent 80K on a FL2 and a RRS. Hearing about other Land Rover owners experiences where Land Rover doesn't give a toss about their customers worries me to the extent where when it comes time to replace my 2 cars I will be looking at other makes

Land Rover really need to pull their head out of their backside and sort this chaps problem out ASAP!

Gents

The manner in which MW has been treated has worried me to the extent that I have actually contacted Land Rover Customer Service and voiced my concerns. I have also added a link to this thread.

Below is what I sent.

Good morning

I currently own 2 Land Rover vehicles:

Range Rover Sport - KU *****
Freelander 2 - KN *****

As a result of ownership I have joined an online forum dealing with the Range Rover Sport - www.rrsport.co.uk

I have been following a thread where a RRS owner has received a very poor level of customer service from both Land Rover Customer Service and his dealership, after the dealership allowed his RRS to fall off their inspection ramps during a service.

The atrocious level of support and apparent lack of interest he has received from Land Rover has worried me to the extent that I am now considering changing both my vehicles in the very near future, in the fear that if I were to have similar problems I would receive the same appalling lack of interest from both the dealership I purchased though and from Land Rover Customer Services.

I realise that you can not discuss individual cases, but what can you do to put my mind at ease?

See the thread here -

http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic27230.html

James T

Maybe we should all be voicing our concerns???????

Jim

I like it Jim Thumbs Up

In all honesty, I wouldn't expect LRCS to respond on here, but I would expect them to monitor threads and react appropriately to the individual concerned, let's see if they do Idea Confused

At times like this, I'm glad I got my car from LPR who have a presence and reputation on here Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Jim - you are a true gent Thumbs Up

I have an email address if anyone would like it - Richuk on disco also suggested members emailing and has done so Bow down

As I said earlier I was reluctant to take this to LRCS because I was worried they would duck and dive backing me into a corner where I had no choice but to leave the JLR stable and I fear that is the next step in this fiasco Big Cry

This is the problem http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18250315

I have been a member across these forums since 2007 and on a jaguar forum before that and have not used them to complain until now. Perhaps Martin could make this email address a sticky for all future unsatisfied customers, Stick at it MW, we are all watching with intrest, it would be nice if someone from Land Rover became a member on here and actually voiced their views, but i can't see that ever happening with such failings going on in their camp. Nope MW......they are not exactly pushing the boat out for your are they?

I would have thought that a good will gesture would have have STARTED with 5K off the price of a new car???

Just my thoughts.

The silly thing is, is that the value of RRS owned by members of this site has a value of millions of pounds and here we have Land Rover making what is an insulting offer.

Maybe someone in Land Rover needs to look at the bigger picture, especially as this thread has now had over 4000 viewers........................ Whistle

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey

LR need to look at their responses.
As some on here will know, i am ongoing with an issue where my RRS has been in for 32 days since January. LRCS offered me £250 in vouchers to buy LR branded goods!!!
Needless to say I declined that offer and now I'm in discussion with the executive management team courtesy of the MD of JLR UK, Mr Hicks.
Will keep the forum posted! Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!
Ex- RRS HSE TDV6 07 Java Black, bi xenon, corner lights, side steps, tints, cool box, smoke side repeats, chrome "sport" boot sill
Ex - Audi A4 Cab 3.0TDi Quattro
Ex - Freelander2 SE TD4
Ex - CRV Auto
