RRS dynamic package fitted as standard?

Hi Guys, need some help please,

I noticed that on RRS there is a package called Dynamic pack which include both "dynamic response" and "active dynamic", could anyone confirm that the 07-09 RRS HSE 3.6 tdv8 fitted this package as standard? ( an option for se?)

Many thanks.

I'm not 100% but going by this site. It was std on a 2007 SC and a $2000 option for the HSE only

I would guess its the same for uk spec.

Dynamic response? Yes, that's fitted to the TDV8. "active dynamic"? Sorry, no idea what that is. Sounds like a hangover from the previous Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) which started out on the D3 and was then fitted to the RRS. I think Dynamic Response replaced it.

Dynamic Response can be identified by a yellow capped reservoir, in front of the air boxes, on the driver's side in the engine bay. It has arrows curving left and right from a pictogram of the car. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Many thanks, can u turn it on or off through a switch in the centre console?(may be selectable in the terrain response dial?)

All RRS , HSE, SE and S come with the terrain response and I've never heard of a dynamic pack on a RRS...... other RR models yes

I don't know of any pack, Dynamic or otherwise, that is related to the RRS, however, you might find something interesting here...

There was a Dynamic Pack offered on c.2006/7 my vehicles which was Dynamic Response, 20" Alloys and Brembo Brakes.

Adaptive Dynamics is a different pack which is now standard on RRS but was optional on most models from 2010my.

Regards,

James Thumbs Up

I have dynamic pack on my 05 v6. I have had the car around three and a half years now, but remember when buying it the salesman telling me how it worked and that it was a fairly unusual extra. Never driven another rrs so not sure how much difference it makes ? There is also a activating light on the dash when you start up for anyone trying to see if a car has this fitted, and as previously said a fluid reservoir under bonnet.

RRS Norway.

If Iīm not mistaken, itīs not a yellow cap, itīs a black one, located in the front endunder the bonnet.

this is Dynamic Response. Think of it as an anti-anti-roll-bar. It (hydraulically) counters the natural roll of the car (quite considerable on a big car like RRS) into corners. And, it's Censored amazing. Thumbs Up ============
