Mirror cover removal

My RRS has chrome mirror covers that i want to remove.
Is it just a brute force job or is there a set way? TDV8 Java black/Ebony black

They are prob stuck on with 3M strips so yes, heat and peal.

(If they are aftermarket caps) RRS gone

some dental floss might help cut through the tape too

Then use a glue/tar remover for any residue
