I've got the same problem on a 2009 tdv8...did you find out the problem??? |

Sorry mate - never did. It spent about three weeks in all between the place I bought it from (a general dealer in mainly high end cars) and Marshalls main dealer (a whole week there at my dealers expense). In the end I got rid of it back to the people I bought it from as nobody could fix it. |

Have you checked the front drive shafts and the front prop ? |

Doesn't seem to be any play in them, no clicking noise and can only hear the noise when windows are shut, it's worse at neutral throttle to slight acceleration, no noise on deceleration...it's not a constant noise i.e. A kind of grind grind grind if you get my drift. It's got worse over the last few months |

My money would be on a transmission mount if you hear it with the windows up. Check the carrier bearing on the rear prop too (the rubber mount goes). |
