Due for a 4 year service on TDV8

Ive had my car for 6 months now and it is due for a service soon. 58 plate TDV8. I was thinking of taking it to an independent down here called RCV (LR specialist) Paddock Wood. Have any of you guys any good, bad indifferent opinions. I'm also going to get them to do a remap on the ECU, they use Autologic to do remap. Price is £472.50 (with a service).
Martin..

Why bother with a remap - the TDV8 is an excelent engine, no need for remap that may cause unwanted damage to the engine components.

As to the service, I would spend the little extra and get a dealer to look at mine if I were you. Do you know the saying "I'm not that rich to buy cheep stuff?" - this is my ideology anyway Thumbs Up

I live in Sussex - near to Gatwick. So it depends which part of Kent you are in, but I use an outfit called DAS landrover at Horley for both of mine. They are very good.

My TDV8 is remapped. IMHO it's worth it. 2007 TDV8 HSE, Stornoway, 20" HST alloys + GG ATs, HST body kit and Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm)

Thank you for the comments, I used to use RCV's for my freelander a few years ago, and they were good then. I know things change, I have asked a few other Landie/Range owners, and they still seem to have a good reputation. £365 for the 4 year service, I think is good value and £475 for the remap.
